Not the best upload, but its still the best out of the others.

I have failed to mention that my Octopus man's name will be Xavier. That was his name before he was turned into said terrible beastie.

He was a british scholar who dedicated most of his time studying the culture of the hawaiian Islands after Captain Cook first discovered them. He went on an exploration with his brother (either naming him Nathaniel or Benjamin) to introduce England to their culture in more depth than Captain Cook could. But he stepped on sacred ground without realizing and was turned into a sea monster by one of the Shamans and cast into the ocean, where he was saved from drowning by Hemele.
